Welcome to By Nejsum on Valdemarsgade. Danish self taught designer Thea Fruelund Nejsum made her first jewelry at the age of 14. She made a copy of her mothers Viking inspired gold ring in copper wire and a sparkling passion was born. Since then jewelry making has been the key to expression and creativity. Various styles and techniques has been explored throughout the years, refining Thea’s personal style and expression. Thea finds her inspiration in styles like Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Art Nouveau adds romance and nature to the design, whereas the Art Deco adds edginess and symmetry. These inspirations combined with Scandinavian simplicity provides a unique look. The main material is silver, and it is through the silver the inspiration and expression manifests and take form. A key element in the design is the attention to the finish, creating a unique and exclusive look in every piece of jewelry.

The brand By Nejsum was founded in 2009 and is located in Vesterbro, an artistic and edgy neighborhood in the heart of Copenhagen, and the combined workspace and shop provides the perfect surroundings for creative play and fine craft.
